About
I am a sociologist and Social Psychology master’s candidate at the University of the Republic (Uruguay), specializing in public policy, criminal justice, and gender studies. My research combines qualitative methods with data analysis, including my thesis on rural women’s discourses about abortion laws.
Currently, I work at Uruguay’s Ministry of Social Development (Mides), where I design monitoring systems for social programs using R and statistical tools. I also teach at the National Rehabilitation Institute, developing gender-sensitive training materials for prison staff. My experience includes interdisciplinary projects on prison education and human rights training.
In recent years, I’ve expanded my skills into data science (SICSS Uruguay, R, Stata) to integrate computational approaches into social research.
