Mohamed is a machine learning engineer at Microsoft with a background in Responsible AI, and an organizer with No Azure for Apartheid (NOAA), an employee-led movement pushing Microsoft to end its complicity in Israeli apartheid and genocide. The campaign pressured Microsoft into stopping the sale of a subset of its cloud and AI services to Unit 8200, the spy agency of the Israeli military. This win came after petitions, disruptions, and direct actions, culminating in sit-ins at executive offices. He organizes across the global NOAA movement and supports Microsoft workers organizing in Egypt.
He is also a lead in Palestinians and Allies at Microsoft (PAAM), an internal employee group focused on uplifting Palestinian voices and organizing collective pressure on leadership over the company’s involvement in human rights violations in Palestine.
