About
Kevin McKee leads the evaluations for Google DeepMind’s AI for Education effort. In this role, he assesses the pedagogical capabilities of large language models and partners with external experts and community stakeholders to define educational priorities and values for AI systems. His broader work focuses on the design of inclusive and cooperative AI systems, spanning machine learning, social psychology, human-agent interaction, and AI ethics. Kevin also frequently collaborates on diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts, including co-founding and leading Google DeepMind’s queer employee group.
