Aparna leads work on AI governance at AWO, a new data rights law firm and consultancy.

Aparna has a background in policy and data science. Previously, she’s held roles with the Organised Crime and Corruption Reporting Project’s data team; Google DeepMind’s Ethics and Society team; LIRNEasia, a leading Sri Lankan think tank; and Stanford University’s Freeman Spogli Institute for International Studies. She holds a B.A. in English and an M.S. in Management Science and Engineering, both from Stanford University.
