I commit time to explore the intersections of labour, technology, and socio-political dynamics in the digital age. This is done by focusing on how platform economies, AI systems, and data-driven technologies are reshaping the nature of work, particularly in the global majority. The work explores how emerging forms of labour replicate historical inequalities and generate new challenges around surveillance, algorithmic control, and precarity. It also centres the lived experiences of marginalised workers, including women, migrants, youth, and persons with disabilities, and how their voices can inform fairer digital economies. I aim to amplify worker-led narratives and contributing to inclusive, just futures of work shaped by equity and care.
