I’m a cultural anthropologist at the Data & Society Research Institute. I have been researching AI and its societal implications since 2016, and have also worked as a researcher for nonprofits, including Campaign Zero and TechSoup. I earned my PhD in anthropology from Oregon State University in August 2025. My current research focuses on industrial transformations promoted by the data center industry in the US Pacific Northwest and Pennsylvania.
