Minsoo Thigpen

About

Minsoo Thigpen is currently a Principal Product Manager at Microsoft working on AI safety, evaluation, and governance for large-scale AI systems with roots in open-source development. She leads the development of red teaming and safety evaluation frameworks at Microsoft and mostly focuses on measuring and mitigating emergent risks in generative and agentic AI systems. Minsoo is particularly interested in bridging technical, product, and policy perspectives to build more reliable and accountable AI systems for real-world deployment and wish to contribute this knowledge towards a broader civil society and public policy context through leading and co-facilitating the REAL ML’s Shift Fellowship.
